Martin Luther King Jr. once quoted, ââ¬Å"Injustice anywhere is a threat to Justice everywhere.â⬠Teenagers around the world are capable of doing anything their mind is set to do. Once a teen is set in a crime they should be fully responsible for their actions. They should be expected to go through the consequences that are brought upon them. Therefore, we the citizens arent getting the right safety we deserve. Proposition 21, helps us find our ways of treating Juveniles to see what is well-being for us citizens. Proposition 21 made different sort of changes to California laws treating juvenile offenders. This proposition was passed in 2000, protecting Californians from young criminals who donââ¬â¢t regard human life. Many humans voted ââ¬Å"Noâ⬠to proposition 21 because they didnââ¬â¢t want to pay, the fact that millions of dollars will go to those young criminals gave them that choice. But, despite the cost of it all, It allowed life imprisonment for gang membe rs who committed home-invasion robberies, drive-by shooting and more.
